General Information and Policies

Hours of Operation: Open by appointment Tuesday - Friday, 10am-7pm and Saturday, 10am-2pm

All product and gift certificate pick-ups need to be scheduled as our front door is usually locked which allows us to give our current clients our undivided attention. Therefore, we are sorry we are unable to accomodate walk-in clients but we will spoil you at your appointment time.

Booking: Last minute scheduling can be arranged depending on availability. To ensure that you get your desired Spa appointment is it helpful to book in advance. I love my job and am blessed to have good reviews and popularity. Therefore please note that evening and weekend slots are in most demand and it may take up to 4 weeks for a pm slot availability and as long as 2 months for a Saturday depending on the time of year. We promise we will spoil you when you arrive and make it worth the wait. A credit card is necessary to hold your appointment.

Arrival: Please arrive a few minutes early prior to your scheduled appointment. This will allow you a few moments to relax and ensure that you are seen on time. Unfortunately, in order to stay on schedule for all clients, the clients who are 15 minutes or more late will not be able to be seen and will need to be rescheduled

Please turn your mobile phone on vibrate or off to help keep our spa environment relaxing.

Cancellation Policy & Fees:At Slice of Heaven Day Spa, we have reserved your appointment time slot especially for you. We appreciate your understanding that our spa professionals must be compensated for their time. We regret to charge any cancellation fees, however we lose income for every appointment slot that could have been filled by another customer especially when no shows occur. We do not get paid salary; we only make income per appointment.

We require 48-hour cancellation notice or a 50% cancellation fee will be charged or 50% of a gift certificate value deducted. No shows will be charged the full service price.

Checks:A $20 fee will be charged for all returned checks.

Gift Certificates: (Gift Certificates can not be used to buy product, they can only be redeemed for services)
Regular cancellation policy applies to gift certificate holders. We require 48-hour cancellation notice. Reservations cancelled or rescheduled without sufficient notice (48hrs prior to scheduled appointment time) will be charged a 50% cancellation fee meaning the gift certificate value will decrease by 50%. The 48hr cancellation has a one hr exception rule; no changes can be made within a one hour window of the scheduled appointment time. This time frame falls in the no show category. No shows will be charged 100% full service price and they will no longer be able to redeem their certificate as it will lose its entire value regardless of the reason for missing your appointment. If using a gift certificate as method of payment, charges will be directly deducted from your certificate.

Definition of a no show client: If the client does not call to reschedule before one hour of their scheduled appointment time OR if they do not show up to their scheduled appointment with no call at all. Phone calls made after their scheduled appointment are too late as they do not fall within the one hour notice window before their appointment.

One year decrease in value: After one year from date of purchase of your gift certificate, the value will decrease by 10% for administrative costs and continue to decrease by 10% every 6 months thereafter for administrative processing fees.

Gift Certificate Packages need to be redeemed in one time slot and cannot be broken up. Gift Certificates cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash; and has no cash value. Gift Certificate service values cannot be substituted, exchanged or re-gifted or used for product purchase. Slice of Heaven Day Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Certificates. Unfortunately, lost or stolen cards cannot be honored. Gift cards are not refundable or replaceable even if lost, misplaced or stolen.

Return Policy: We accept an exchange or Spa Credit for all returned merchandise. All returns must be made 10 days of date of purchase and with an original receipt.

Children at the Spa

Age Policy: Spa guests must be at least 18 years of age.

Our goal is to create an oasis of privacy, luxury and relaxation for our clients. Towards that goal, we are finding it to be a conflict in having children visit the spa who are waiting for their parents to get services. It is challenging for everyone to keep children adequately entertained and supervised while getting their spa services which are usually one hour in length.

We are asking clients to refrain from bringing their children. Our environment is definitely tranquil and adult-oriented. I am hoping everyone can appreciate and understand our concerns for those clients who use our spa as an escape from the hustle and bustle of their daily lives.
